Amer Fort
The Amer Fort in Jaipur is dedicated to Goddess Amba who is referred to as the Mother Goddess by the locals. Maota Lake next to this fort adds to the beauty of this world-famous place and is also the principle source of water inside the fort. Sandstone and marble are the two main constructing materials. This fort is also known for the halls inside it. There was one made for kings and rulers and the other one was built for the commoners. They were named “diwan I khas” and “diwan I aam” respectively. Statistics say that around 5000 visitors come to this fort and is a must watch for all. The 2013 session of the UNESCO meeting had declared this marvel to be a world heritage site.
